I’m not claiming to be any sort of expert, but many antikin and kin alike bring up questions like “why are so many people kin from newer, more popular media” and “why is there no kin of this background character, and a lot of kin of this main character?” These are interesting questions and I want to address them.

When you smell something in particular, it can trigger a vivid memory. A certain phrase can remind you of someone. The can be said for many fictionkin. When we watch a show or read a book, or anything else like that, it can trigger an awakening. A realization that we may have lived a past life as a character. And the reason that there are more kin from more popular works is simply because it has more visibility and exposure. I could be kin from the most obscure show in the world, and never find out because of how unpopular it is. Just like, if you didn’t smell a scent at a particular moment, you wouldn’t have triggered that memory at that time!

This brings us to the second point about people being kin with more popular characters. It’s difficult to be sure if you’re kin with someone who has little to no character development, or visibility. The more time “on screen” and characterization a character has, the easier it is to be sure you’re kin with them.

Here’s another point that I see brought up. “How can you be kin with something that is so new?” Well, the answer is, that though that media may have just become available in this universe, in a different universe, it is reality. I showed signs of being kin with a character since I was two years old, which is eight years before the show aired. This belief is only plausible if you believe in the multiverse theory, however.

Thanks for reading through this. If you want to add on, or contest, feel free. I’m willing to talk to anyone about this!
