Someone: Otherkin is such a ridiculous concept I can’t believe people are serious about it 99% of actual otherkin: Yeah that’s valid we’re really weird…

So I’m aware that you can’t choose your kintype, but I have a bit of a question. See, I’m still new to the community and terms, though I’ve been awakened for years. I am a Cybertronian who lived and died as a member of the Decepticons. But in the course of living this life, I’ve had a very different set of experiences, and don’t agree with those ideals or goals anymore. while tagging as kin irks me, the thing that pisses me off is that some otherkin feel like they are entitled to crop/edit an artists work to use as reaction pics in their posts. an otherkin that seems pretty popular does it and i have sent her polite asks about it before and surprise, no response! way to show you know what you’re doing is wrong and that you don’t give a shit about artists.

I see non kin doing that too with fanart.

Its good to see I’m not the only one with a confused perspective on the phenomenon. Before the outcry, I wouldn’t have known that people…
