(Anyone can answer; not towards any specific mod/admin, maybe even all of ya if you want.) What are your opinions on other types of dysphoria/trans, such as transspecies/species dysphoria, and do you include these as part of the trans* community? There are countless types, just in general.
The dysphoria that transgender people feel is more specifically gender dysphoria, which involves feeling discomfort or disconnect towards sex characteristics or how one is socially viewed in regards to their gender. You can read more about it here.
Species dysphoria I have no comment in the way of my opinion on it, because to be honest it’s really none of my business, but as it does not relate to gender, it does not relate to transgender people.
Someone can be transgender and experience the species dysphoria you described, but that doesn’t make it a transgender issue just as I am transgender and an artist – That doesn’t make artist issues into transgender issues.
