I feel like a lot of tumblrkin are actually soulbonders and don’t know it. It’s easy to mistake a soulbond for a kintype. That happened to me with Mulder for a while.
I’ve seen a lot who I’m pretty sure are. In those cases I give them as many resources on that as they’ll take, but it doesn’t always go well. In part because people think all headmates = DID/DDNOS, another part being that being kin is just “cooler” to claim. Some might legit be anxious at the idea of sharing their mental space with other entities, but the nice thing about soulbonds is that you can ask them to leave/give you space if necessary.
