Hey! Well personally, I believe in the multiverse theory (I think; I’m still figuring it out lmao), but no, not all fictionkin believe in that. For instance, psychological type fictionkin are pretty common – those are the ones who believe their kin identities stem purely from psychological issues – but even in that category the beliefs are pretty broad.
Like, some psych fictionkin might believe they have an extremely similar or identical brain makeup to their kin identities, or some might think that their identification as their kin stems from some sort of mental quirk.
It seems like, on tumblr, the multiverse theory seems to be most popular, though, at least amongst fictionkin.
