Most anti-otherkin are just using the same thing like “I identify as an Apache helicopter yada yada yada…” or “You’re not a horse, or a wolf. Just stop.” I am just someone that is annoyed at people thinking this is a legitimate thing without scientific evidence. I’ll cut to the chase; give me legitimate evidence, and I’ll shut the hell up.
You know what I’m tired of? People barging into our spaces demanding evidence.
Evidence that we never claimed to have in the first place. Anyone who says they can p-shift or otherwise prove their beliefs is usually regarded as an embarrassment. If we had proof, we’d be broadcasting it as far as possible so people would leave us alone. Except they probably still wouldn’t.
None of us are obligated to give any wannabe intellectual so much of our time and energy explaining shit. But leave it to these types of people to feel entitled like that. And to hold basic respect above our heads like a treat, if only we can jump through whatever artificial hoops they put in place.
op, you’re an asshole, and you’ve been clogging up my dashboard for days. Things can exist that you don’t agree with or believe in. It doesn’t make you right or us wrong.
