It really isn’t that hard to get. You’re under no obligation to follow or interact with people who make you uncomfortable for any reason, even if it’s because of their kintype. Avoid them all you want. But calling people fake before you even know them because they might share a kintype is shitty behavior – you’re not gonna get respect where you refuse to give the same. This is called hypocrisy.
Being fictionkin is not about being the ONLY one of your fictotype, nor having claims on characters. I don’t even know what kind of mentality that falls under, but it’s not this.
