can you be kin with a non canon character. like could u be from a fictional universe, but not of a canon character, and also would that be fictionkin or otherkin?
You can absolutely be kin of non canon characters. Plenty of kin are simply someone who was from the ‘world’ of that story.
For example there are many pokemon kin who are simply random non-character pokemon, like a random pikachu, rather than Ash’s pikachu.
