Honestly I wonder if any of the responses to that survey were trolls. The community has deteriorated because of Tumblr, but people saying to be otherkin you must wear a fursuit? Uh yeah that sounds like trolls.
One of the unfortunate things about these surveys, I guess. They can only be so accurate. How accurate, we may never know.
Frankly, probably quite a few. If I manipulated the raw data I could probably weed them out.
