(tw for blood, gore, death etc) i don’t understand fnaf fictionkin or any horror related fictionkin in general. why would you want to identify as a character whose only personality traits is murdering people? i think it’s really scary and i don’t want to be anywhere near them out of fear of them fantasizing about wanting to bite my head off :c

Identifying as otherkin isn’t about identify as what you want…it’s about understanding who and what you are (aside from human of course).

Yeah, I’m sure I’m going to piss some people off by saying this, but I don’t care. Fictionkin, or otherkin isn’t something you ‘chose’ to be. You don’t pick your kin type. You can’t *chose* to be kin if you’re not. Being fictionkin does *not* mean picking from a little buffet of characters and deciding ‘that me! teehee!’. Its who you are, unchangeable, deep inside you.

Being kin, more often than not, is more suffering than it is fun. Its memories of a place you can never return to, friends you’ll never see again, urges that can never be fullfilled, hungers unsated, body parts missing.

I’m not saying you can’t have multiple kintypes, or that you can’t believe you were one kintype and then find out you were actually wrong, and you’re another. But you can not chose who you are, and I will *fight* anybody who says that you can just decide to be kin. Its those people who reduce being kin to being a joke of identity.
