Can you explain the difference between being fictionhearted and synpath? I’m questioning my connection to some characters and the definitions you have on your FAQ for these words make the most sense to me, but I’m not sure how to figure out which would be a more appropriate label.

I was thinking, what if a heartype is someone you’ll be in a future life? Like a kintype is someone/something you were in a past life maybe a heartype is the opposite

I know what you mean about heart types! Mine is Sansa Stark. I feel like in some other place, I should have been her. I’m not, but I could be and perhaps should have been. It’s strange, and very different to being kin, who i actually am.

I want to say thanks for bringing the term “fiction-hearted” to light. I have a headmate who closely associates with a character, but doesn’t identify as being the character–he’s not a fictive. When he and I discovered the term “fiction-hearted”, it turned out to describe his feelings PERFECTLY. We’re both grateful to finally have a word to explain what he’s feeling!

I’m so glad! I think its important to have words to describe all different kinds of feelings.

I’m fictionhearted, and I often feel the hints of my heart-types’ emotions. Normally it’s triggered (?) by songs or simply thinking of other characters from the universe he is from. Is this a normal thing for hearted people?

I don’t know if this is common or not, but its pretty much exactly how I experience my hearttypes. Anyone else?
