I’ve been in [fiction]kin chat and some of people here are telling me that I’m fake. One, that I have only one fictionkin and two, that I don’t really ‘vent’ (like they do) about my feelings from my memories etc. I don’t really understand them?

What a terrible chat. Nobody who actually understands being fictionkin is going to tell you you’re fake for only having one kintype.

so, i’ve noticed a trend among a lot of kin, from fictives to otherkin… and that’s what they call ‘linking’. It’s basically where the one ‘fronting’ ‘links’ to other headspaces using roleplay-like dialogue and they can apparently interact this way in ‘real time’ as if they were real. is this, even a thing? can this even be real? or is it just roleplay? lol

Some people do claim to be able to communicate with members of other people’s headspaces either at a distance, or by the members ‘visiting’ the headspace…

Recently i found out that an undertale Sans fictive that was part of a little known AU had his AU reset by someone whom was not the fictives host. They literally killed this poor guy… How do people have the right to even do that? It’s… just wrong.

Sorry, I just want to rant briefly. It’s so annoying to see people who aren’t kin saying it’s racist to ID outside your race when like… that’s not even remotely how fictionkin works you don’t choose who you are. And then to see misguided kin defending their viewpoint and misrepresenting what kin means? Ugh, I tried to explain but they just wouldn’t hear it.

So I think I might have been wrong about one of my kintypes because I really didn’t put a lot of thought into it now that I look back, and also I really wanted to be them, so I think I may have convinced myself I was them in a past life.
