Awakening
Is awakening even a thing people talk about any more? When I was active in the community years ago awakening was a very important concept (the process for you, sharing stories, misteps etc) but I haven’t seen it around much lately.
For fictionkin I don’t think you’re likely to get it very much on Tumblr. It’s mostly fictives scattered amongst the Tumblrkin, and they tend not to go through an “awakening” process. I’ve seen some of it on LiveJournal, although not generally referred to as awakening. I think there just aren’t enough new people showing up for those conversations to really be happening, rather than it no longer being important.
Its true. I’ve seen mostly fictives on tumblr. Basically what we would have called soulbonds years ago. I guess that term pretty much fell out of use. Frankly it feels a bit lonely.
