can someone explain to me what fiction kin actually means? whenever I ask people give me half arsed responses that I don’t understand and it’s super confusing.
Fictionkin (noun): A person that believes that his, her or its identity is synonymous with that of a specific fictional character, or a non-specific creature or person of any species that exists only in a specific fictional world.
Identifying with the personality of a character does not make you fictionkin
liking that character strongly does not make you fictionkin
wearing the persona of that character to cope with your personal insecurities and struggles does not make you fictionkin.
Wanting to be a character does not make you fictionkin.
