Ouch! This is definitely the multiverse rule in practice. You happen to be from a  version of the universe that was just a bit sillier and weirder! Please don’t feel fake, your universe is just as real and valid as the ‘serious’ version. In terms of reality, the two are equal.

It sucks not being able to find people from ‘your’ version of the universe, but don’t let it make you feel fake. There are many, many of us who are from canons and worlds that we can’t find any of our friends from. I have never met a single other person from Digimon 02, let alone the timeline that I remember.
