Why do people say “there’s no such thing as otherkin”?
That’s a little like saying ‘there’s no such thing as pagans” or “there’s no such thing as communists.”
Just because you think otherkin are wrong doesn’t make them ‘not real’.
Can somebody explain Otherkin to me?
Also, I’m not trying to be a dick…but from what I know about otherkin, it’s not really comparable to a person saying that pagans or communists aren’t real..
Otherkin are (to broadly generalize) members of a community that shares the belief that they are humans with non-human souls, or souls in some other way from another world.
