PSA since apparently some people are missing the point

trashcats-palace:

When we say things like “we know we are not literally our kintypes” or “we know we’re really/we know our bodies are human”

what we are doing is arguing with anti-kin who think we are having delusions of actually physically being not human. So, for example, they think I believe Im sitting at my computer typing with kitty paws and licking my butthole cuz I think Im an actual, literal, physical cat.

What we are NOT doing is:

  • Saying that you, personally, have to be comfortable calling yourself or your body human in any capacity
  • Saying that if you experience those delusions sometimes, that you can’t be kin (they just aren’t what make someone kin)
  • Saying that fictionkin are not actually their kintypes on some level

It is literally only because we are arguing with anti-kin. I have seen so many people derail shit or totally miss the point of why we say this, so here is some clarification.
