Honestly, I want to find whoever started this bs “IDs are more literal than kintypes” thing and glare at them until they get uncomfortable and fucking stop. I know I only started seeing it in 2015, so it’s definitely a recent thing that needs to be stamped out.
Reminder that kintypes ARE literal. Literally you. This is why the “identifying with/relating to” thing has to stop being attached to us. All of this is just making our communities look like we’re something different than what we say we are, and it’s disrespectful as hell.
