I’ve been trying to discover who I was when I was an elf. I’m currently looking towards fiction for answers. Any advice on how I would know whether or not I’m from that fiction?

Ouch, tough call. There is a LOT of elf fiction out there, and probably no way that you can see it all. Nothing says necessarily that you’re a specific elf, or from a specific fiction (you could just be elfkin, lots of people are). But if you want to find out if you ARE from a certain fiction, try to think of all the things that make you, and the elf culture you remember/associate with unique. Did you have pointy ears? How long were they? Did your elves live in a tribal structure? what kind of magic did they practice? Do you remember any language? cultural customs? THings you wore? Did you live on the moon?

Make a post about all the things that define you and your elven culture and see if anyone recognizes it. Or take elements of what you remember and google them and see if any fiction comes up.
