Otherkin Help Blogs You Should Probably Avoid
Alright everyone, as this is an issue that has come up in the tumblr community, lets crack down on “Otherkin Help Blogs”.
There are a ton of these on tumblr, and new ones seem to spawn each week; but as far as most of these go.. they aren’t accurate or qualified sources of information. Most that probably couldn’t answer this questionnaire I created shortly ago in a way that one would want to be receiving guidance from.
As it is, being able to tell an applicable source from the next is one most new or questioning otherkin can not really tell, given they have little or no prior knowledge of what otherkin is. To combat this, I’ve put together a list of Otherkin “help” blogs, that range from displaying poor, lack of correct knowledge to high content misinformation, or some of which were more likely trolls.
Now, though a lot of these blogs have good intentions, any amount of misinformation they put out is harmful to the community and especially it’s newer members. And so this list was created(
regardless of the level of misinformation) as one new or questioning otherkin should avoid as a resource for information or advise.

Those are what I have found so far, concerning blogs that I believe should be avoided if you are looking for accurate answers on anything about otherkin. Though, if you are new and interested in the subject, I would strongly advise doing a lot more research outside of tumblr(and really dig deep, as there is a lot of misinformation out there!).
