for the ockin stuff: is it okay to even be kin with an oc? like after lots of considering and looking into yourself? also do people usually make an appearance/look for themselves if theyre not a canon character from a source?

Pardon my language, but fuck yes it is ‘okay’ to discover that your kintype is an OC. 

*points dramatically to the otherkin community* 

Anybody who’s kintype isn’t a specific fictional character from an existing source has a kintype that’s an “OC” (or you know, just ‘themselves’ if they don’t differentiate their current identity and their kin identity).

Its totally okay to put all your kinfeels together into a picture of your kintype aka ‘create an OC that is your kintype’, too.

And its okay for this OC to be a ‘fan charcater’ too. All of that is legitimate, and possible.
