When some people call on otherkin who “seek professional help” sometimes I wonder how they would react if they knew that some otherkin have touched bases with professionals and they didn’t have a problem with it or even have made suggestions to help them better affirm their identity. Not only that, but their are a growing handful of professionals (some in the psychological field, some in anthropology) who are writing papers on how otherkin is real and needs to be study more.
