Uh, so apparently the really bad fictionkin survey I did like a year ago is going around again, mostly with trolls it looks like? Just so everyone knows, that was not a great survey and the results are interesting, but very iffy. Its in no way scientific. Obviously since its a poll with 100 participants, all from tumblr, it only shows those demographics,

I mean, I never honestly thought that you believed that it was scientifically valid, though I’m quite glad to have that thought proven. I was just amused by the reblogs by people who seemed to believe that your study meant otherkin could take over the world.
That amused (and concerned) me too! People will take things so far out of context! The poll was originally created because someone asked me if we had any data concerning the internal makeup of the otherkin/fictionkin community, and at the time we didn’t really.
