It seems I was completely wrong in my thinking in my post about trans and kin terminology. Thank you to everyone who pointed out the flaws in my line of reason. As I said, as a transperson and a fictionkin, what I wanted to do was open a discussion about the idea of changing terminology, and I got a pretty clear answer.

Dysphoria absolutely describes the way (or at least one way) kin (and a lot of other people) can feel about their bodies, and it seems there’s no reason to stop using it. Its certainly not something I’m fussed about personally.
