Okay, I’m not hating on you guys or anything I was just wondering: How is a character that has been written coded or created by some other human person a part of your “soul”? I’m not trying to be rude i’m just genuinely interested, that’s all.
Thank you for the interest, though I wish you’d tried a little harder to go through the wealth of information already available.
The answer to how we can believe that part of our soul is a fictional character is multiverse theory. I have a whole post about it here which you can read at your leisure.
The short explanation is that we don’t believe that the characters exist only because they were written about by writers on earth. We believe that the characters exist and existed in other universes. So for example Legolas was written about by JRR Tolkien, but he existed before Lord of the Rings ever came out, in another universe.
