i heard someone say once that anything written has happened and exists, just in an alternate timeline, an alternate universe with a reality different than the one we live in. that’s what i believe, and i think that’s what a lot of people believe. this is just something to think about before invalidating fictionkin or people who are some sort of mythical kin (dragons, mermaids, etc). these people can certainly still be spiritual otherkin. you have no right to disrespect someone’s spirituality.
