My fandom is very intolerant of fictionkin. Some of them have called us plagiarists and pretending to have DID and showing disrespect for the author. This really hurts because I can never come out and I actually have a HUGE respect for the author. The fandom is mostly roleplay blogs so it’s really hypocritical and it sucks.

Roleplay is roleplay, and fictionkin is fictionkin. The RPers are not being hypocritical by being annoyed that their game is interrupted by kin. If these people have gone out of their way to come to you and call you disrespectful plagiarists, then they are in the wrong. However, if you brought kin matters into a  normal fandom space, of then I’m afraid you got what you were asking for.

It sucks when people are anti-fictionkin, but it equally sucks when fictionkin go around telling people what they can and can’t like in fandom, which is sadly what some kin have done. I am not saying that you have done this, however, it is something that has left a bad taste in some fandom’s mouths.
