is it weird to rp as my kintype? Does that make me less them if I want to rp as them? Am I not fully understanding my identity?

I’ve Rped as my kintype before, although that was six or seven years ago now. I thought it might help me feel more ‘in tune’ with myself, or be a healing experience in some way. It turned out to actually be very upsetting and weird for me.

That said, if you’re rping as your character, I don’t see anything inherently weird or wrong about it. Its a way to express yourself as that character in a socially acceptable way.
