Do you feel there’s anything about the way Ken/the Digimon Kaiser was portrayed in canon that doesn’t accurately reflect the way you remember yourself being? I’m always interested in hearing about how these things differ with regard to canon/past life.

There are a few points where my own past differs from what was shown in the television show- some more interesting than others. I think the strongest difference is for me there was no ‘dark seed’ that was put into me intentionally, instead my soul was mixed with a dark spirit that previously had been passively inhabiting my brother. When he died, the spirit passed into me, and the traumatic event woke it up/fused it somewhat with my own spirit, and that’s how it all got started.

Other than that, there’s the fact that my relationship with Miyako ended very poor- in a quite bitter divorce. We had no children.

On a brighter note- I never remember if this is ‘canon’ or not, but when Daisuke got older, he rode a motorcycle and had a terrible little mustache, and ran a noodle stand.
