Hi, I’m not sure if this is the proper place to ask this, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I don’t personally identify as fictionkin, but I’ve recently gotten attached to this one character and it’s kinda weird… Like, I imagine them in my shoes sometimes when I’m out and about, and I act and think like them sometimes. Could I be fictionkin, or am I just overly infatuated with this character?

(Same anon who wants to know if I’m infatuated with a character or not) I forgot to mention, sometimes I also feel kinda like phantom clothing? Like this character wears a scarf and sometimes I’ll feel like there’s a scarf around my neck, when in actuality there’s nothing there. Is this normal for fictionkin, or am I an outlier?

Sounds more like it might be a soulbond/fictive headmate situation. Your infatuation may be calling them to you basically.

As for the phantom clothing thing, I’ve never experienced this, or no anyone who has, but it’s very interesting!
