can i still identify as fickin even if i don’t refer to myself by my kin’s names? for some reason whenever i try to imagine callig myself one of my kin’s names i feel kind of uncomfortable

Most of the time I don’t refer to myself as Ken, or Vriska. I have a different name now, a name for the whole me, in this incarnation. Ken and Vriska are part of my past, and part of me, but not the whole. 

Of course you can identify as fictionkin without calling youself by your kinself’s name. Most kin don’t refer to themselves that way under normal circumstances.
