All otherkin are human beings.

Otherkin in general do not demand to be treated as their kintypes.

Otherkin in general live human lives on par with non-kin.

Otherkin do not, in general, demand to be called by their kintypes, nor demand anyone use their kintypes as their pronouns because they are otherkin.

There may be a couple of outliers but these individuals are frowned upon even within the otherkin community.

If you see this behaviour;
– Complete denial of own humanity.
– Complaints that they aren’t allowed to act out their animal side full time.
– Demanding nounself pronouns because of their kintype.

It’s more likely that the person you’ve witnessed is a troll, acting out a trope that has no basis in reality.

You don’t have to believe otherkin beliefs.

You don’t even have to like otherkin whatsoever.

Just please base this on reality, not trolls.
