hi! as someone who ‘rates’ their kins, i do it because even if im equally connected to my kins, some of them i feel a stronger bond to, or theyre from much more recent past lives so the feelings linger more than other kintypes !
Anonymous said to fromfiction:from what i’ve gathered, people organise their kin depending on which is the strongest for them; like if they’re in shifts more often/have more memories of one kin as opposed to another, then the kin with more shifts/memories would be labelled as “primary” as opposed to “secondary”? that’s why i do it, personally. it’s also a way to keep kin pages looking more organised, i think.
Anonymous said to fromfiction:Hi I’m here to explain the main kintypes vs. secondary kintypes thing! I have one kintypes that is my main, because I have the most memories and emotions from that kin. I believe that he was my most recent past life, the one I lived right before this one, and therefore I have tons of emotions and recollections from that life, more than the rest. Also he’s my happiest kintypes? So I like to try and stay in a shift of him most of the time. He’s less of a kintype and more of a total identity.
vulcankin said to fromfiction:i know i personally “order” my kins because there are kintypes that i more solidly and strongly know and feel my memories of, while others i only remember bits and pieces of/have emotional memories but not yet visual memories of. they’re all equally me, it’s just that some of them i remember more of. for some people i know it’s like which ones they’re uncomfortable seeing doubles of vs which ones they’re okay with. honestly i think everyone has different reasons for ordering their kins.
Anonymous said to fromfiction:People experiences are very diverse. Some people order their kin type because they are affected differently by their different kins. One theory for this is past or astral lives, the stronger kin could be the origin of your soul, or your previous life before human that left a stronger bond or memories. Different deegres of connection, different orders.
