- DO NOT constantly remind the fandom of your fictionkin identity. Try to avoid mentioning it at all, if you can.
- DO NOT harass people for shipping things or believing things that make your uncomfortable, or that don’t fit your memories of what happened.
- DO NOT make unsolicited comments about what ‘really happened’.
- DO share what happened to you in the frame of ‘headcanon’
- DO share what ‘really happened’ politely *if asked.
- ALWAYS REMEMBER that the fandom is meant to be fun.
- If the fandom for your source material upsets you too much STAY AWAY FROM IT. Its not worth the suffering.
