I always thought that people use the term “ID” rather than “kin” if they’re copingkin.
That was my impression as well. In which case I encourage it wholeheartedly ^^
That would be a very strange distinction if so. ID is just shorthand for identity, and many non-copingkin use it in both shortened and full forms.
I recognise that some on Tumblr have started using “kin” and “ID” to mean different things, but it’s not a usage that holds well outside of that niche community. People may wish to be prepared to be misunderstood on a somewhat frequent basis if they use these distinctions.
