It is perfectly legitimate to be kin of someone whose body, mind and/or life experiences are different than yours.
Kin do not chose their kintype/kinself. They do not steal or appropriate identities, disabilities, mental illnesses, or cultures.
People are kin because they believe they are reincarnations, under other spiritual effects, or because of their consciousness/psychology.
It is okay to be kin of someone who has lost a limb, even if your body has more limbs, or fewer.
It is okay to be kin of someone who has a mental illness you don’t share.
People who say that you can not be kin of someone disabled if you are not disabled are misunderstanding what being kin is.
If you say kin of disabled people must be disabled, what you are saying is that someone who has been disabled will be disabled forever, and they can not be reborn into or exist in a body that is different.
