Recently I have found a double of me and I wonder if I should ask him for confirmation of my memories and feelings I have or if we most likely wont have the same memories.

You should never rely on someone eles’s memories to match up with yours- especially not a double who almost certainly experienced things differently. Its cool when memories match up, but very, very rare.
