what are your thoughts on godkin or deitykin? especially people who identify as specific gods that people worship

I believe that some godkin and deitykin are almost certainly legitimate. There is plenty of precedent for gods and spirits to take human form right in the mythology that they come from. There’s no reason that gods wouldn’t incarnate in the modern day.

That said, I think the idea of godkin cultivating or expecting ‘worship’ from other humans is a recipe for trouble at best, and a path to manipulation and abuse at worst.
