im pretty sure people want to id as a character as a coping mechanism without being called copinglink. can you not force the label onto them thanks

Copinglink is the term developed within the kin community to describe the experience of creating/assuming a fictional identity as a coping mechanism. There are lots of people who are glad to have terminology that describes their experience more precisely. If you’re not a person who likes that term, you don’t have to use it, no one is ‘forcing’ you.
