If your kintype is Ken, do you ever wonder if you never met Wormmon in this world because he isn’t dead in your world? From what I remember (though my memory of the show is kind of spotty), Digimon never actually “die”, they just get rendered into data fragments and then reform again. Maybe he’s still there.
I have thought about this a bit before, and it very well may be the case. I don’t really know.. Its hard to figure out the mechanics of how all of this works. That said I have run into people who were other digimon in past lives, or otherwise had them as kintypes.
