Does not the research about how memories can be falsely implanted and people can be easily convinced of things they didn’t do, invalidate kin “memories”?

Not particularly. If I wanted to get all woo-woo about it, I could say that we have no way of knowing if all ‘falsely implanted’ memories aren’t memories received from alternate universes or timelines.

For me, being kin, and having kin memories is a spiritual belief. You’re not going to convince me my internal experience is false, just the same way you’re not going to convince people that god is false, or whatnot. Its not something that operates on science.

Likewise for Kin who believe that their experiences are purely mental, this certainly doesn’t invalidate their experiences ether. If the brain for some reason creates consistent memories of another life that don’t conflict with anything, there’s no harm in treating them as real, emotionally speaking.

I may add to this later Its a bit late at night for me, and its hard for me to put my thoughts together.
