To comment on the “Otherkin Rapture” thing: I still kinda believe it in a weird sense. Not in the sense that people are gonna have some sort of physical thing happen, but when you think about it, it seems it’s really only in this day and age that otherkin can so easily find each other. The idea of a truly infinite multiverse and the past lives that might be associated is being refreshed and expanded. [1/2]

[2/2] People are becoming more spiritually open, so maybe it’s not the end of the world but the start of a new era in human spirituality. Fictionkin or not, you know, if you believe in reincarnation then it makes sense that everyone has had these lives. Otherkin might just be the ones who have found/clung to them.

I totally agree with you there, anon. I’m glad that with the advent of the internet we’re all able to find each other more easily. There may not be some kind of ‘rapture’ but there are certainly more people understanding themselves as kin now than ever before. That’s certainly a spiritual revelation of one kind.
