This is sort of like the question you already answered about being kin with OCs, but do you think it’s possible to be kin with a character from your own fanfiction? As in, an AU version of the character that you wrote about before you realized you were kin?

I absolutely believe this is possible. My belief is that (at least some) fictionkin come from people who have lived lives in other ‘fictional’ worlds being reborn in this one. So obviously, you could be reborn from another world, and then write about your memories/experiences.

Some people would assert that this makes you otherkin, not fictionkin. Its a very gray area.
