Do you think someone could be fictionkin without memories or a paricular attachment to their canon?

You can be fictionkin without clear memories, and you can be fictionkin without LIKING your canon. But I don’t think you can be fictionkin without having strong feelings for your canon, and attachment that says its where you belong. Awakening as kin is involves strong feelings, and strong attachments. Without those, how do you know that you are you?

In my opinion, being fictionkin means you have the soul of a fictional character, either literally or metaphorically (for psychological kin). And if that’s true, your canon is going to make you feel strong things- like seeing friends you haven’t seen in years. If your canon doesn’t affect you in any way then I question your connection to it.
