do dreams count as ways to experience memories? I’ve had some dreams from the point of view of my fickin type but they were also in the middle of a nonsensical dream. I should obviously be skeptical but how skeptical is the question

Dreams absolutely count, and are a normal way that a lot of us who have memories get them.

However, not every dream you have about your kinself will be a memory. Make sure to engage critical thinking when you’re examining dreams that may be memories.

Does it match up with other memories you have?

Do the laws of physics function normally for your source world?

Are you dreaming from the perspective of your kinself or a close third person? (most normal memories are perceived as if they were viewed from just behind the backs of our heads.)

Are there random, out of place dream like images or elements?
