I struggle to meditate, especially due to my noisy household, wandering mind and anxiety and obsessive thoughts. Are there any other ways to remember things/get memories?

Those can be tough, anon! Coming from a noisy household myself, I sympathize.

Have you tried meditating with music or binaural beats? Or at night after the household is in bed? Meditation, if you can manage it, can be really soothing for anxiety and obsessive thoughts, so I really recommend it if you can ^^

Other ways to get memories are less reliable. Sometimes they come in dreams, sometimes they just spontaneously happen when something triggers them. Try going over your source material, maybe try writing about it from your perspective?
